| Samnang (big) - age 11 - Samnang’s parents both died from AIDS. Relatives attempted to care for Samnang and his two brothers after their parents passed away, but everyone in the family was extremely poor and no one could properly provide for the boys. An aunt brought the boys to the orphanage so they would all have an opportunity at a better life. |
