My name is Kristie and I was fortunate enough to go last year to Phnom Penh to share Christmas with the children of the orphanage in Phnom Penh. Just like anyone who has ever gone on a trip, I learned just as much from them as they did from me... if not more! And, I left such a large part of my heart over there that I knew I had to go back. After signing back up I realized I wasn't alone. Mike, Elloa and Dominick also couldn't resist returning. So the four of us plus 5 new members have met twice to get ourselves acquainted and to start planning out our time with the children.
I hope everyone on this team has the strength of flexibility... mentally and physically. Because we will need it. Just like Proverbs 16:9 says "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." And our steps will be planned and for sure the plans will fall apart. I can't wait!!!!
