Team Davis!
Hey everyone, we're Team Davis, and we're leading Team Phnom Penh to New Life Orphanage in December! Here's a picture of us with one of the kids we sponsor. (Don't mind the blurriness, it was taken by one of the other kids, and I think the camera was a little heavy for him!)
We're so excited about the team God has put together. What a blessing to have people that you click with, get along with (so far, haha :) and already love. Our team retreat is next weekend at Camp Winshape. We've got lots of fun stuff planned and we're excited to grow together as a team. Thanks for coming along on the journey with us!

Meet Alex...
He isn't an official member of our team, however, he will be at the orphanage when we get there!
He has been to this orphanage several time as a Global X team member (just like all of us are going this time) but on the last trip out his team left... but he stayed!! He isn't sure how long he will be there but he knows God has called him to be in Cambodia. How awesome is that!! He has an amazing story that you should read all about on his blog...

Are we ready????
Absolutely!!!! I can't wait to go back.
My name is Kristie and I was fortunate enough to go last year to Phnom Penh to share Christmas with the children of the orphanage in Phnom Penh. Just like anyone who has ever gone on a trip, I learned just as much from them as they did from me... if not more! And, I left such a large part of my heart over there that I knew I had to go back. After signing back up I realized I wasn't alone. Mike, Elloa and Dominick also couldn't resist returning. So the four of us plus 5 new members have met twice to get ourselves acquainted and to start planning out our time with the children.
I hope everyone on this team has the strength of flexibility... mentally and physically. Because we will need it. Just like Proverbs 16:9 says "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps." And our steps will be planned and for sure the plans will fall apart. I can't wait!!!!
Thank you for coming along on this journey with us, thanks for walking along side of us, praying for us, and potentially supporting us financially as well. I can't begin to tell you how much you mean to us all.
As we move along this journey you will have the opportunity to meet the cast and crew of this adventure and I'll do my best at keeping you up to date on all that we are doing, planning, and getting together!!
XOXO, Kristie

Lost in my own home
Were home now and I feel more lost in my own country than I did in far off Cambodia. Look at the pictures of the children makes me miss them. I know they have made such an impact on my life, there just are no words. I am simply filled with much emotion. Someone told us this is the time, after we have done God's work, the devil wants to creep into our lives to turn the light in our hearts to darkness. I would agree. Satan is probably very unhappy for the joy of the Lord we have just shared with others. At this time, I am the most sad and probably at the most vulnerable. Please pray for our team as we transition back into our daily lives. Please pray to keep our hearts safe from any spiritual warfare that might come upon us.
I am comforted from this verse,
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
Joshua 1:9

With Thanks,
Anna Alexander
